- Before the season, a secret seed is generated.
- SHA-256(seed) is published on the bracket page at lock.
- Each round: hash(seed + round) % remaining = eliminated entry.
- After the season, the seed is revealed. You're verifying it now.
The hash was published before any eliminations happened. Changing the seed would change the hash. Math doesn't lie.
